Pre 2020
• The NBC (No Budget Cup) was an exciting new race series coming from the UK and created for British bikers on a Budget. The series came across to Europe and became a huge success in the Benelux, attracting more entrants than any other championship in the region with its fun and affordable ‘90s’ twist. The five round, entry-level endurance championship was only open for bikes aged between 1990 and 2000 inclusive. Each team consisted of 2 or 3 riders who all competed on the same bike, sharing a one-hour qualifying session before each 2 to 8-hour race. There were 3 separate categories; 600cc Class, +600cc Class and the Megabike class. The No Budget CUP was designed to combat the credit crunch and bridge the gap between track days and more competitive, expensive racing. All competing No Budget CUP bikes had to be based on road production models and use road legal tyres...
• Highlight of the year always was the 8 hours of Zolder. Huge field (over 60 teams), fast riders and exciting battles made it a ‘must do’ at the end of the season…
• Competition bike during 3 years: Yamaha R6 (supersport class)
• The year of 2017 saw the team shifting towards the Twin Cup championship. This was endurance racing – as it was in the NBC, but with 2-cylinder 4-stroke production bikes. A lot of fun and a great year saw us claiming the Benelux Twin Cup title.
• At the end of this season, the team decided – for multiple reasons, to stop on a high and part ways.
• Competition bike: Kawasaki ER6 (Twin Cup class)
